Setdle

How to play

Find the 3 sets hidden in today's 12 cards.

  • Every card has four features: number, shape, color and shading.
  • A set is three cards where each feature is either all the same or all different.
  • If two cards share a feature and the third doesn't, it's not a set.
  • Tap three cards to make a guess. No card is in more than one set.

Examples

Set. Everything is different: number, shape, color and shading.
Set. Same number, shape and shading; all different colors.
Not a set. Two are red and one is green.

Scoring

  • The clock starts on your first tap and stops when you find all 3 sets.
  • Each wrong guess is a strike. 3 strikes and the game is over.
  • Your score is your time. Fewer strikes breaks a tie.
  • A new puzzle every day, with the same cards for everyone.

The original game

Setdle is a daily tribute to SET, the card game invented by Marsha Falco. The real thing is played with a full deck and friends, racing to call out sets first, and it's even better.
